Comparing Types of Trailers - 'The Dark Knight Rises'

I have decided to look at three types of trailers for a recent film so that I can establish what the conventions are for each type of trailer.

I have decided to look at a range of trailers for 'The Dark Knight Rises' to get a better idea of the different conventions of different styles of trailers. This is important as I want to ensure that I include the correct general conventions of trailers in the trailers I produce for my imaginary film. As I don't know (a) which genre I am going to work in and (b) which two types of trailer I am going to produce yet, this analysis will help me cover many possibilities.
