Revised Shot List and Shooting Schedule for the Trailers for 'London's Finest'

I've re-thought my trailers after filming some test shots of some of my characters in their cars at night. Some of the footage was too grainy and I've now decided to go in a slightly different direction with one of my trailers. For the other trailer I will still include some of the car footage. Initially there was to be a scene involving a crime taking place shown in the trailers, which would have shown the same character a year apart to show how much their life had changed once they had been sucked back into a life of crime, but now I've decided to focus one of the trailers on my protagonist's domesticated life (using some of this footage in both), because he has left the life of crime behind. I have decided to add a voiceover (which I may use in both trailers), with the protagonist talking about how he misses the old life, and finish at least one of the trailers with a shot of him with a gun, to imply that he is inevitably going to get dragged back into his old life.

Here is my new, revised shot list:

• floor level long shot of front door, with protagonist walking towards the door carrying shopping bags
• long shot of protagonist walking towards the door (from the side)
• medium close up of him putting the bags down outside the door
• close up of him putting the key in the door
• long shot of the front door, from inside the house as the protagonist opens it
• long shot of the front door, from outside the house as the protagonist opens it
• medium shot of the protagonist walking through the door (shot from inside)
• wide shot of dirty plates by the sink
• close up of protagonist's hand turning on the tap
• medium long shot of protagonist washing up
• medium close up of hands scrubbing dishes
• medium shot of protagonist washing up
• medium close up of protagonist ('trunk shot' from inside the fridge)
• medium close up of protagonist emptying the bin
• close up of him tying up the bin bag
• long shot of him taking the bin to the front door
• close up of him opening the front door, from inside
• medium shot of him walking out the door with bin bag, from outside
• close up of him opening outside bin and putting rubbish bag in
• close up of him emptying shopping bags

The majority of shots take place in one location and I will be filming those on 20th January (the shots in bold). The other shots (not in bold) will be shot at college on 21st January.

I will film a number of versions of each shot so that I have more choice in the editing suite, and incorporate these shots with the useable footage of the cars.
